6-9 Months Baby Schedule

Having a baby is hard work. Having a 6 – 9 months old baby, however, can be especially trying. Let’s face it. You are coming off the high of very little sleep the past six months and now, your baby may have between 2 to 4 pearly whites peeking through.

It feels like you breezed through the first pair of teeth when the second phase of teething hits at you. You are dealing with a more awake baby, a handful of his own personality and such clinginess and fussiness you start to wonder where your easygoing and understanding baby went (I can’t be the only one!).

Forget the house chores. Your list isn’t going to be 100% done without some help. Don’t beat yourself over it. So your house looks lived in. Your laundry pile is a lot higher than you would like.

Having your baby on a routine is important at this stage to instil good sleep habits, give them an idea of what to expect and this, in turn, leads to a happy baby during the day and a well-rested baby sleeping through the night.

You can be as strict or lax as you want with a schedule, but even a simple pattern can make a huge difference in your baby’s general mood and life. It will make a difference in yours too.

In this post, you will find a sample schedule for 6 – 9 months old babies and suggestions for meals.
